Powered primarily by Cisco technology, BCMPweb’s infrastructure is engineered to provide maximum security and performance for all customers. Real-time graphs and statistics on your data utilization are available online
Redundancy and Security
All equipment in the facility is powered via an online UPS, providing constant, stable power. The UPS is backed up by a generator to provide unlimited power backup in the event of a mains power failure. The building is designed to ensure maximum security. Concrete poles, double-layer concrete walls and steel mesh protect against intrusion.
Climate Control
Twin HVAC units provide a temperature and humidity regulated environment for optimal equipment performance and lifetime.
Connectivity
BCMPweb is “carrier neutral”, with redundant connections from multiple providers, including Telecom, Vector Communication and TelstraClear. The data-centre is connected via ATM and Fast Ethernet with connections directly to the Sky Tower, the Auckland Peering Exchange (APE) and our upstream international providers, making ours one of the most well-connected data-centres in New Zealand.
